today is okie.. i wasnt as tired as i tot i would.. life's quite borin now actually.. nth special in sch.. so lookin forward to friday(de performance.. not de kick boxin part obviously.. haha..) i was maybe a little too hungry today though.. i ate immediately when chinese came.. when most of de time me n ong will wait till chinese is gonna end then we eat one.. n we ate yong tau fu!! :D lurve yong tau fu.. n my current fav is curry rice.. so nice!! n i think de yong tau fu store went to change their bowls.. coz they sort of appear larger to me today.. both de small n de big ones..

oh.. n more of xinyu n my crazy tokin.. coz xinyu wanted to go buy guava juice (as usual) so we went to buy lah.. then we saw someone queuin at de western food store.. so i dunno why de brain cannot turn properly n so i was like 'this person looks familiar but wat does she sell one de leh?' so i turned to ask xinyu, "wat tat auntie sell one arh?" then her reply was equally stupid "photocopy machine one." haha.. dumb n dumber.. haiz..

n oh.. i wanted to actually blog extensively on jc life.. coz like i spent my whole sec4 tryin to get an idea of wat jc life is but it nv came to me even after i knew i was posted to college.. i mean there's really so so so little info u can find abt jclife.. okie.. there was jcguide last time but its gone now? so wat do kids rely to choose their jc? hmm.. but again(hah!) why will sec4 kids read this blog?

hmm.. but nevertheless (hey.. jasMEAN, this is de proper use.. heh.) i shall still blog abt it..

hmm.. maybe tok abt subjects first:
there are mainly 2 streams(okie.. maybe de only 2 now.. since they scrapped off commence..) science n arts.. science u of course take sci subjects lah.. chem, phy, bio, maths, f-maths(are they scrappin this off too?).. arts steam mainly focus on lit, geog, hist, mep, art, econs.. but with de new policy of H1, H2 n stuffs.. kids enterin college nxt yr need to take one subject out of their core.. like u are in science fac but u hav to take one arts subject like econs or lit etc. then if u are in arts then yup u must take one science subject lah.. which means there's no more triple sci anymore nxt yr i guess.. unless u take 4H1 n 1 subj for H2 level? makin u takin a total of 5subj.. in case u are thinkin wat is H2 level.. it juz means like takin elect of tat subj.. H2 geog means geog elect like how it always was in sec sch..

then there's gp.. if u are gd enough(i mean EL A1&A2) u can take KI.. aiyah.. both are de same.. juz tat one wans u to think even more.. dun fret if u cant get into KI coz pw alone can make u think n think n think le.. then wat we learn in college leh.. i'm in sci fac lah.. PCME combi.. physics juz continues wat we have learnt in sec sch.. so it wont be too difficult (provided u noe ur sec sch stuff) chem.. is gettin harder (at least to me) coz they are introducin quite some new topic.. maths's juz an extention of watever we learn in amaths.. differentiation.. vectors.. lalala.. all these.. econs is actually juz human geog.. its very very human geog.. then u juz learn abt de market n stuffs.. its juz common sense to some extent.. but they juz make it chimo.. gp is... argh.. more essays.. must read newspaper.. must noe stuffs happenin around u.. n gp means u are gonna subscribe to newsweek or time if u haven done so.. chinese.. hah. i dropped this.. so i lurve chinese periods.. happy hr to me.. so.. tat's all!! so little subj yeah? as compared to de 8,9,10 subj tat need to be taken in sec sch.. n i sucked a lot in essay writin.. so no more lit = a much happier me!!

if u are pragmatic n wanna take subj tat u can really drill urself in.. take sci stream.. sci stream kids make up de majority in colleges.. n many ppl take it as de safe n easy route.. arts fac on de other hand is cooler.. u are de minority.. but subj are more flexible.. meanin no hard facts like Ksp = [A][B] n stuff.. n.. dunno how to say.. but all my frens agree tat arts fac is like.. cooler? haha..

n seriously.. choose a sch u like.. try to balance btw being pragmatic n wantin de fun.. i mean college life is only 2yrs.. its not gonna change u into a whole new person.. ive got this maths teacher hu once said lah.. if ur ability can only land u as last position in a gd sch.. then u are assumed to top a bad sch.. this is okie.. but nv be those hu will average a gd sch but again will average a bad sch.. if u keep this in mind.. actually choosin fun over a gd future is okie lah.. i chose a sch with a long hist (n actually a very strong culture) i lurve it yeah? so i dun really regret it..

oh.. sth else.. dun get cheated tat jc students go to sch later than sec sch students.. coz we dun.. i got cheated de whole of my 4 sec sch yrs.. coz everyday i'll see nj ppl enterin sch at 8plus.. haha.. this actually applies only to nj.. all other colleges still start at 7.30 mind u.. oh.. n if u can plannin to go acj.. i tell u.. being late lands u in detention.. even if u are only a second late.. or its ur first time.. or becoz it was rainin n road was slippery.. late=dc.. shall tok another time i guess..

oh.. n i realised both xinyu n huiqi's blog tok abt de incident on.... eh.. wed? haha.. yup.. it was wed.. coz on tat faithful mornin i came real late to sch.. like 728 then reach sch.. n so i was tryin to hurry towards de hall.. n i saw a blue lancer!! haha.. n lau was inside lah.. so i came to realise tat lau has a blue lancer.. so.. fast forward to after sch.. we were like walkin out of sch.. then we saw lau tokin on his phone.. but he sort of hidin behind a pillar.. lookin damn suspicious.. then i rmb wat i saw in de mornin.. so i told xinyu n huiqi hu were walkin with me, "hey.. de dark blue l-a-n-c-e-r car belong to lau!!' okie.. it was kind of loud.. coz de carpark so noisy, n somemore after sch.. so i hav to say loudly lah.. so xinyu pointed to this gold(!? yuck!) colour car on de other side sayin, "hey.. tat's ah loy's car!!" so we were like pointin to all those cars when klim n launcelot came.. we didnt see them approachin.. so we were like pointin to here n there when 3 of us got a shock.. coz klim was like givin this weird smile to us.. damn farni.. n her frown.. she had this 'aiyoh.. wat are u doin' look on her face.. so we juz say 'eh.. hi...' n faster run away le.. so while we were tryin to run away klim was still sayin 'shoo.. shoo.. dun stay here anymore.. go home..' damn farni.. first time i heard klim say this kind of thing.. haha.. n so malu.. coz we were like 3 shua-gu kids pointin to cars..

n after this we had more farni encounter with tutors..

like yday.. coz it was after pw.. i waited for xinyu to go home tgt lah.. n it was like 450 already when we left de comp lab.. so we turned in towards de back door of LT2.. forgot why we chose tat way.. n suddenly we saw lau.. it was like one long corridor with us n lau.. of course cannot appear like nv see right? haha.. so weird.. then he sort of raise his eyebrow.. then i was like 'hello sir..' then xinyu followed with 'hi sir..' but it was really farni lah..

n arse-ho n his jazzie.. coz also dunno why charmaine n xinyun were like lookin at cars durin chem tutorial.. n being de normal-very-nosy sporean like arse-ho.. he went to look too.. okie.. maybe too many a time.. coz he was practically starin down at de cars durin de chem tutorial.. so we decided to like 'challenge' him.. so chong went to do de job (as always) "hey sir~ how's jazzie?" then he was like "nobody can call my wife like tat!!" haha.. it was farni at tat time lah..

Cry Wolf is a multiplayer Web game created to promote a movie of the same name coming to theaters this September. And if the movie is anything like the game is, I predict it will be a box office hit.

"Cry Wolf, the game, pits two groups of unequally informed players against one another in a discussion-centered contest of survival."

The Flash-based game makes use of AOL Instant Messenger by logging you into the game using your AIM screen name, no other registration is required to play. The lobbies and in-game chat utilize the Flash Comm Server for multiplayer communication, and yet the game encourages the use of AIM to communicate privately with other players to form alliances and gather information. Hotlinks that open external AIM chat windows are included on every player's avatar.

A new game is formed with a flock of between 7 and 15 players. The multiplayer game server secretly assigns most of the group to be sheep, and only a few to be wolves. The sheep do not know wolves from sheep, and yet the wolves know of each other. The exact number of wolves is dependent upon the number of people playing. In a 7-person game, there is only one (1) wolf; whereas in a 15-player game there are three (3) wolves.

If you are a sheep, your job is to figure out who is a wolf, and vote them out out of the flock. If you are a wolf, you are trying to help your fellow wolves make it through the game undetected.

There are three (3) phases to the game: daytime, sudden death, and nighttime. In daytime, everyone chats together and tries to form alliances however they can to sleuth out and expose the wolves. During this time each person selects someone whom they believe to be suspicious. Sudden death ends the daytime phase with the two (2) most suspicious players being voted on by the remaining players as the one to be ousted from the flock. After one is ousted, nighttime takes over with all the sheep going to sleep, and the wolves free to decide who to eat, thus reducing the number of sheep by one (1).

The game ends when all the wolves are driven away, or when the number of wolves outnumber the sheep.

The game server is represented by a faceless character called the "Shepard", which is responsible for maintaining flow throughout the game. Periodically, the Shepard will provide clues to the group, and will sometimes whisper only to certain players about another player with whom to trust. At nighttime when the sheep are 'sleeping', some will be given 'dreams' about other players who cannot be trusted. These visions and clues must be discerned carefully however, since other sheep are often included in the visions.
Apparently the characters in the movie play a similar game, and the game itself is not a new concept. I have heard from more than a couple of people who have experienced something like it before played in groups. It works surprisingly well as an online multiplayer Flash game, so well in fact that I couldn't stop playing it for hours once I started. Terribly addictive. Excellent fun. Click.

read a blog abt chinese lesson.. haiz.. actually 2 of them quite poor thing.. coz de teacher went to tell lowTH tat they ponned chinese in de mornin.. seriously i agreed with those complains abt de teacher watever anyone else said.. i dun think chinese lessons in sch is workin.. okie.. at least with tat teacher.. sch has this policy tat chinese is compulsary regardless of hcl student or not.. so i actually attended chinese for 3mths.. it was.. horrendous.. coz everybody's chinese isnt very gd in de first place, de teacher used english durin lesson to teach chinese.. wat is this? i mean usin one language to teach another language can only be seen in 3rd lang class lah.. even so.. after like half a yr, third lang classes also stop usin other languages in class.. somemore chinese is our mother tongue.. thinkin of those compos tat i wrote in chinese classes in sec sch to defend chinese teachin n stuffs.. i seriously think it wont work..

n my hcl grade wasnt nice too.. i once hesitated droppin chinese in hope of gettin at least a distinction at a0 level.. but wat felicia said made me finally decide in droppin it 'if u are not sure u can get a distinction at de end of this yr, then forget it..' n based on de experience of de first 3mths, i knew i cant get distinction already.. i noe my weakness, its de compo part.. zheng-lao already said.. coz my expression are often too informal for bao zhang bao dao.. n i doubt i can correct it in this yr.. at least not thru goin for chinese lesson.. yep. i dropped it n nv regretted.. de extra periods were great.. n i wasnt goin for a lesson i hate..

oh.. n yday's de result show for jue dui superstar.. i really really tot junyang was gettin in.. coz kelly first got in.. then i was like.. 'boo~' so i tot confirm is junyang le.. n it turned out it was weilian hu got it!! shocked me.. seriously lah.. from de bottom of my heart i hope weilian will be de ultimate winner but somehow practically i think weilian shdnt win.. haiz.. dunno lah..

hah. im back again.. after eatin n bathing.. haha.. today durin pw i came to realise how much nanyang prepare us for jc n uni life.. can still rmb de times when i hated ipw n de semester paper like hell coz it was so crappy n i didnt noe wat to do.. it was tedious n somehow i felt it was bo-liao to some extent.. but now to look back, nanyang actually did all these to help us.. like ipw.. rmb last time hav to write gpp.. wah.. hate it to de core.. our ideas keep gettin rejected n gpp was like a crumpled paper with correction tape all over after de many attempts to get a gd topic.. then those meetins we had in macs n library to get de project done.. n finally de written report tat we spent several days in de library for.. maybe it was all worth it.. by de time we graduate from nanyang we had already done 3 written reports in our lives n 3 oral presentation (wah.. i hate this..) but it wasnt tat strict.. no such thing as plagirism.. so we juz madly copied everything we found from the net n chunk it into our written report.. haha.. then another thing i hated was de semester paper.. we did like 2 semester paper? one in sec1 n de other in sec2.. can rmb researchin on zulus n wah.. buay tahan.. read those encyclopedia until my eyes pop out.. wat zulu ppl this zulu ppl tat.. n still must cite this cite tat.. citation wrong repeat again.. n redo n redo until de semester paper was considered satisfatory.. n do tat farni cards thing for plannin.. n oh! i rmb sth.. de farni chart we had to do "so as to help us plan" our semester paper.. wah.. i hated those days..

but it kinda paid off i guess.. now we are still doin written report.. this time graded n stuffs.. havin gone thru those days of mad citations n photocopyin sources juz made us better men (women perhaps).. n everything seem so much easier..

i guess watever we learn from nanyang needs time to show its true self.. n i didnt regret takin geog n elect lit in sec sch.. they forced us to not take hist n geog at de same time may juz be de correct policy.. now everything in econs made so much sense by juz thinkin in terms of human geog.. n everything we learnt in lit actually applied to gp.. n lit is one subject tat can expand one's knowledge so much.. if i had not taken lit i would not hav known 'to kill a mocking bird'.. to noe wat is irony.. maybe this is wat mrs seah meant.. arts student will hav more general knowledge than science students.. we learn why de moon revolve around de earth.. why mixin silver ions n chloride ions in proportion tat exceeds de ksp will result in precipitation.. but somehow we are detached from de real world.. thank gdness there is econs to pull us back into this world..

n of course de ppl we noe thru this learnin journey.. we de ppl hu think alike.. we de ppl hu knew mrs kingshaw lurve green.. n we de ppl hu knew how to draw a x3 curve.. we de ppl hu sat tgt for 2 yrs.. haha..

n we went town!! k.. i shall list out too.. got ong chong me xiuhui asri hussein ivan(today's ivan's bday!!) elgin frank ronson david jesse(though he left after eatin).. went to swensens.. wah.. really burned a hole in my pocket.. okie.. i nv eat a lot lah.. but considerin later i went swensens AGAIN in de evenin.. wah.. feel like a spendthrift.. then we ate lah.. i ate chicken baked rice.. n we order a mango ice cream cake to celebrate ivan's burfday.. i guess he was too touched coz he stood up n bowed(!!) to us.. haha..

we planned to watch charlie n chor fac but in de end there was no tix n stuffs.. we ended up shoppin.. n i saw roller coaster soaked up extension pack!! looked so nice.. n realised how violent games tat boys played.. really horrible.. i shall stick to rollercoaster tycoon.. or maplestory.. we then went topshop n topman.. really weird.. frank picked up a shirt tat was 70plus(wah..).. like always ong n me went to de underwear section.. haha.. kinda dumb..

n i guess de whole world was in town coz i met(let's see..) sokeyee, yueyun, boxian, liguen, yanling, yeewen n veronica.. quite a lot i guess..

n after tat it was quite late already.. i guess 4plus already.. considerin we started shoppin at 10plus? yep. so by tat time we were separated.. ong pei me go popular then i pei her go watsons.. buyin de thing to pull out ur blackheads.. haha.. n yah.. i headed home in de red line(hopin i can bang into someone or sth like tat..)

wanjou sms me to go ps!! haha.. omg.. i was goin to slp on de train before i got her call.. got down de train at dear yishun(my stop) n to cross over to take back to dhoby ghaut.. went to ps.. found debbie.. we kind of walked around ps before wanjou came.. n we finally settled down at kfc before shiduan came.. then we left kfc without buyin a single thing to go to swensens.. there was this sundae sale.. all at 4bucks.. so wanjou shiduan n me ate an ice cream each.. debbie ate a 10bucks dessert before comin.. n we tok n tok n tok.. debbie is gettin really lame le(oh no.. wat has vj done to her?) n i felt like kinda left out from de bukit timah gang le.. hmm.. maybe i shall update myself more.. then we walk walk walk n wanjou shiduan took bus home, me n deb de train..

deb n me were then makin a din in de train.. haha.. i also dunno why but we tok abt a million thing n we luffed non stop.. like siaoz za bo.. n deb's fren was there.. lookin at us luffin at our own jokes which were not farni at all..

after tat i had a quiet time in de red line train n reached home le.. (perharps still hopin i can bang into someone..)

okie.. its 1034 now.. n de national celebration at yew tee cc is over.. i guess.. coz i woke up 15min ago hearin de emcee tokin at lucky draw.. n lucky draw is always de last right? hmm.. miss de days when my mum drag me up at 8am n to sit in front of de stage for lucky draw.. haha.. guess my mum gave up on tat now..

yep. today is 9AUG.. de burfday of wonderful spore.. perharps goin down to carnival@marina later.. but dunno lah.. im juz too lazy to do anything.. n im havin diarrhoea (do you spell it this way?) now.. woke up at 4am coz it was too painful to bear.. haiz..

oh.. my mrt experience an hr earlier.. coz xinyu n i went jurong pt n after tat we went home lah.. so i took mrt home.. this army guy juz sat beside me.. it was like 10min when i suddenly heard him tokin.. i turned around n he was tokin to me..

kinda weird to hav a stranger to suddenly tok to me on de train.. but later found out he was from acsi n then acjc.. but he left.. i think after first 3mths n went melbourne to study.. but he's back now n went into de army.. hmm.. maybe this was wat i read abt from another blog before i went into ac.. coz de guy of tat blog said sth like all acsians even if they dunno each other when they see each other they will still tok to each other.. or maybe juz give each other a smile.. hmm.. perharps this is da ac spirit they always tok abt..

This morning, these nincompoops went up on stage to do publicity for our school blog, and they mentioned my blog entry.
So, instead of getting the enthusiastic applause and support that they wanted, these nitwits were met with this stupefied and fearful SILENCE from the whole school. (“OMG, Mr K writes in our school blog, I’m gonna terminate my membership right this moment…I mean, the guy is INSANE……”)

Talk about scoring own goal

Of course being the responsible and conscientious teacher and DHOL that I am *clearing throat*, I would never resort to mud-slinging like singing “I TOLD YOU SO!” on the school’s PA system and laughing maniacally in their faces before I break their scrawny necks….

So, I would offer to help these poor misguided people by offering them some ALTERNATIVES, aka other teachers who are immensely more popular than yours truly and whose names would not bring about cardiac arrest and involuntary diarrhoea (like mine).

So on to the alternatives:
Miss Ang Wee Ling
For those who do not know, this woman (or girl, since she looked like she is barely out of her teens) is the teacher of the Byte Club, which is incidentally the CCA that the goondus that are responsible for this morning’s fiasco are from. I mean, she is like the TRENDIEST teacher in the school. She has ALL the latest gadgets, the latest handphones etc. Just the other day, she was in the staff lounge staring at her barely-out-of-the-box 3G Nokia handphone that does camera, video, radio, MP3 playback, email and a toast cheese sandwich when she is hungry, and she said this:
“I want to change my phone. It’s getting old.”
She wails:
“I bought this last week, and now there’s a newer model”

And the rest of us mere mortals there (with hand-me-down-phones from the last century) stared at her and wondered what bank she has just robbed.

And talk about Fan Club. This woman is literally mopped by her students. I mean, when she wears a skirt to school, she is MOLESTED by her student (“Oooooh….. Miss Ang, you look sooooo nice today….. can I touch your leg?”)

I mean, even I don’t get offers like this.

Next: Mr Lim Kok Boon
If there ever was an IDEAL poster boy for our school blog, he is IT. This guy is so squeaky clean that he makes Mama Lemon detergent look like grease. I honestly cannot believe that he came from the same secondary school as I. Turns out that he was my grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand (how many is that? 6? 7?) junior. Which is probably a good thing I guess, I mean during my sec 4 time, if we were to see a sec 1 student as squeaky-clean like him, we would probably have dumped him into the canal outside our school during high tide just to make sure he will look normal.

So you see, getting the right person for the right occasion is very, very important. Just make sure it’s not me

today we had physics prac.. suck!! it was dannykorkor loh.. haiz.. like de chi compo xinyu do today 'a lot of things u will only appreciate when its gone'.. last time think harry hates our class n he damn fierce to our class.. but now i wan harry back!! dannykorkor really.. wah.. i tell u.. he shout once i jump once.. so malu.. but damn frightened durin physics prac today..

new econs lecturer candence wong or watever.. at first i tot she was a cheena lian.. okie lah.. she's not bad.. but i still sleep durin her lecture..

today they were sellin science fac tee.. wah.. de mornin announcement fashion parade was rather farni "woo~ i've nv seen so many gd lookin ppl tgt in my life!" haha.. it was entertainin.. super ugly de shirt.. wanted to buy lah(nevertheless).. but missed it completely coz we were slackin in cafe durin recess..

really tired nowadays durin lecture.. slept a little durin induction today.. right in front of sivam.. then econs nearly slept.. no chem=no borin lecture.. but today there's test.. wah.. my mind totally blank out when they ask me why H2 + I2 -> 2HI dun need catalyst.. i completely blank out loh.. haiz.. arse-ho actually said sth abt too ex and so no point usin catalyst.. n elgin say becoz of catalyst does not increase yield.. watever.. i left tat 3marks totally blank.. de buffer part i managed to complete but somehow i wasnt really confident..

but STill.. im happy today!! haha..

previously chong n ong went to count how mant times KLim says 'do u noe wat im sayin?' durin 1 maths lesson.. n today i did it for another lesson also.. haha.. KLim set a record of 12 times 'do u noe wat im sayin?' in 40min.. wah.. but too bad.. this other teacher didnt break it.. he said 'MCT' only 5 times.. so sad.. haha..

i think chong's imitation of KLim today is de farniest thing to happen today.. she imitated de jing dian frown n de way she tok.. haha.. damn farni lah..

n harry's gone.. sigh.. he went for re-service.. so 2 harry-less wk.. so sad.. heard this old vp comin back to teach.. hu loves to tell stories.. haha.. though harry dun tell stories, but he's gd..

heard ron tok went to teck whye sec.. so sad.. he must hav broken so many girls' hearts at linden drive by leavin.. de girl hu spends most of her recesses thinkin of wat she shd call her baby if she marry tok n de maths teacher hu smile at him everyday.. n million others.. haha..
