kuryu kohei.

it's kind of sad to say that HERO is one of the better movies i've watched this year. haha. because strictly speaking it's not even a movie. they got the cast together from hero. the story is from hero. and the filming style is also not like a movie. it's er a gimmick by the fuji television to earn more money and to perhaps introduce takako matsu (松たか子) or abe hiroshi (阿部寛) to a wider group of audience. hahahahhaa.

but but. HERO is seriously good. if it was a SP i think the ratings would be quite good too. first, the cast is already good enough. takuya kimura. aiyah. no need to say. takako matsu, abe hiroshi, norito yashima, nene otsuka, takuzo kadono, masanobu katsumura, fumiyo kohinata and kiyoshi kodama (even though his role is quite small). hahaha. the whole office leh. omg. i love all of them. hahaha.

and they got back tanaka yoji. the bartender of the pub that kuryu always goes to eat. haha. and to add on the movie there's tamori (the music station guy) to act as a corrupted politician. and Matsumoto Kōshirō IX to act as the big lawyer gamo. and coincidentally (or maybe not), he's takako matsu's father in real life.

ohhh. and there's Lee Byung-Hun. hahahaaha. all in!! hahahahaha. i like how takako matsu keep calling him 'ikemen kenji' which means handsome prosecutor. hahahaha.

so the story revolves around 3 cases which are interlinked. the corrupted politician has a security guard as an alibi to prove that he wasnt at a restaurant where he was supposedly receiving some money. and on the other hand the security guard has the politician as an alibi to prove that he wasnt at some place where he supposedly committed manslaughter. and the other one is an arson.

the pace of the movie is good. it's good in the sense as how a jap drama is usually good at. like how the review on i-weekly puts it. it is a lot like a japanese drama. and if u like japanese dramas, u will enjoy the movie. if not, u may hate the pace and the jokes and everything in the movie.

it's quite simply a takuya kimura movie. if u have liked good luck!!, pride, hero, i think u will like this too.

and 九代目松本幸四郎 does sound like a cool name. haha. and i jus realised that his son is Ichikawa Somegorō VII. if u have watched pride, one of takuya kimura's friend. the one that keeps changing his girlfriends.
