u noe money and banking is the funniest econs topic ever. last time when we were unsure of the demand of money, i still remember the lecturer saying 'why is there a demand of money. wouldnt everyone want as much money as possible?'haha. okay la.i found it very funny then.
and then now. the lecturer now is even better.she was talking abt the benefits of holding cash. 'if u want to buy char kway tiao, u cant possibly go tell the auntie that u have a house worth 1 million dollar and earning an interest rate of $2000. u give me the char kway tiao and i will give u the money after my tenant pay me back.'
hahahahahahaha.
and the best line came from the last lecture. 'we will briefly look at the balance of payment. we wont learn how to calculate it here.this is an economics module, not an accounting one. if u have wanted to do it, u would be in ntu.'
