宋家皇朝。

haha. jus realised jasmine watched 宋家皇朝 too. but she watched it a few years ago when her history teacher showed it to her. i think i watched it when i was in sec3 or se4 becos i happened to pass by when my dad was watching. anw, ch8(or is it ch u?) had a repeat telecast recently. it's a story based on the 3 song sisters and there was this part of them receiving education when they were young.

i think their father was english educated and taught them english. so he taught them a quote:

Napoleon said 'when China moves, it will move the world!'

so i was like wah, this napoleon really so far-sighted. noe that china will rise up in the future and make all the angmohs say bo po mo fo. and so i went to google this phrase and found that there are like one million and one variations of it.

"When China awakes the world will tremble." -Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821)

Napoleon, surveying a map in 1803, pointed to China and famously remarked, "There lies a sleeping giant. Let him sleep. For when he wakes he will move the world."
