my adventure at engineering fiesta 2005!!

haha. yup. engineering fiesta. 3 whole days. didn't blog abt it when it ended coz there wasnt photos to show and all. but anw, boonkiang sent us the photos and tada!! i shall blog abt our proud little 3-days adventure at engineering fiesta 2005.
first day we had this little quiz which we hav to carry our heavy bags and walk round the whole exhibition area and try to take notes of those little stuff at each booth. after which we had a quiz that has questions regarding those tiny little details. like 'who invented the first computer?' those stuff. and also the bridge load contest!! haha. that one really damn tikam one. they show u this little bridge made up of satay sticks, bamboo and all kind of stuff, then they will test the bridge to failure by adding weights to it. first day there were ppl trying to calculate but as it goes on everyone juz tikam lah. like guess 4D like that.
then second day we had excursion to 3 diff industrial parks. first is toa payoh lorong 1 the philips factory. and they showed us so many cool gadgets that were not out yet. the photo frame with pictures moving like a slideshow, a mirror tv so that u can watch tv and brush ur teeth/bathe at the same time, this ultra cool remote control that can control every single thing at home (lights, tv, stereo, etc.) Then we went SAESL to look at aeroplane engine repair.
then we went orhard road to look at how engineers brought comfort to everyone. after that we went back to 100 victoria street and did a rather stupid skit.
day3 was final day!! we were damn taiko lah. i tot we die liaoz sure no chance to get into last round but anw, we got in!! haha. and damn taiko again we got 2nd.

then we were brought to this vip room on the 16th floor of national library. the view was great. we could see the whole city from up there lah!!
