I know i should be studying now but the whole AM thing is really too off-putting till i could not resist and decided to blog again. and today's abt good leadership which i was thinking between reading paragraphs on amplitude modulation.

This actually came from my primary school discipline mistress. You know like how all of us wish so much that we can be a prefect when we were in primary school, i was lucky enough to be one in pri5. of course i didnt have any big plans for the school and only became one because i tot it was part of this climbing up the hierarchy ladder in school and if i do not become one by the end of my primary school life, it will be such a pity. so i remembered her telling us on the first meeting 'You do not become a prefect because you think it is cool to wear a tie in school. You do not become a prefect just to show off.' it was a straight smack in my face because a certain part of me did wanted to become a prefect because it was all so cool to become one.

and now, i'm really afraid that i've met someone who is just like me, the primary 5 me. someone who has become a leader not to serve (or rather have not thought of it; high level thinking is required) but because it is 'oh so cool'. i am really really afraid of this. not that it bothers me constantly, but every time when im free and i settle down to think, it really makes me feel worried of the future.

because you really do not lead because it is 'oh so cool'. bad leaders. urgh. help me. i've always appreciated the secondary school days when you spend your first 2 years in your cca climbing up the hierarchy ladder. no one become a somebody overnight. the first 2 years, you do the saigang and listen to your seniors and learn the ways. secondary 3 will be the first time when you get a chance to do something constructive to your cca and secondary 4 to lead. okay. maybe im a little too narrow minded, but i am totally into this shifu-protege idea. haha. now that we are in uni, and that we are all mature, thinking adults (pui), we are assumed to be able to assume roles from the time we enter this college of never ending hills of staircases. are we? i doubt. but at the same this is so worrying because not much can be done about this.

so all i can now is to hope no one is here because it is 'oh so cool'. esp the biggest one.

and nowadays i've reverted back to tv and is watching the 9-11pm slot.the 9pm one for the person who said she will burn her laptop at the end of punggol when her laptop dies and the 10pm one for mr 大蝦 in modern clothing. you know how every time i like a new actor, everybody around me will suddenly tell me like gossips or rumors abt this actor and i end up not liking them again. haha. come tell me some bad stuff abt them. wake me up.

woke up this morning full of energy and prepared to mug before i succumbed to temptation. haha. damn it. was tweaking this blog the whole afternoon but in the end i settled for this old look. though i added this expandable posts feature which isnt working too well. because it will insert this 'undefined' after the place where the blog post expanded. and i cant seem to find an ans to it. i think it's sth to do with either my formatting or my widgets. nevermind.

some cool widgets are out on blogger. which i only realised yesterday. and one which i have inserted into the sidebar, the blog list feature. u can add the addresses of blogs which you are reading and it will display the date and the title of the newest blog post. decided to add some blogs which i wont visit normally but will be nice if i know they are updated. quite cool. can check them out at the side bar.

and i watched ep 6 of bloody monday. haha. this is dope la. it's a drama by miura haruma who is a hacking genius and he got himself involved in this terrorist act where they plan to kill everyone in japan (or not) in order to make themselves god.

but it gets really funny (or irritating) to listen to how they pronounce 'BLOODY MONDAY' in this strange tone similar to how Count Dracula in sesame street count. 'ONE. HAHAHAHAHAHA. TWO..' Ya. is this what people usually call 'western superiority'? 'MARY JANNNEEEE~'

oh man.im online again. might as well blog something.my dad was talking to me over lunch today abt the ability to do housework and not to live with your parents or parent-in-laws after u get married. so he was commenting that 'everybody want a man who is rich, good looking and nice. this kind of man are all either married or are swindlers.'

hahahahahaha. i think when my dad gets older,he really talks more and more like a woman.

reading week reading week reading week. woo. im glad finally we are having a break from school. but again. this means that exams are here again. i just hope my CAP can go up. nevermind wat CAP i will obtain in the end. just up. i need it to go up desperately.

till now i guess my mid terms grades are acceptable. with the exception of PE which was a flop. urgh. i need to seriously mug for cs.

and after this sem, im sort of glad i chose to stay. and ee's not that bad as it sounded at first. at least i enjoy counting in binary. and of course the film module saved my rather boring sem. and talking abt that. i was thinking abt this that day; ichikawa kon made a docu on ozu and shunji iwai made a docu on ichikawa kon. i think iwai needs someone to make a docu on him too. if i make it big i'll make one for him. hahaha. but before that i need to make something BIG. like tokyo story or makioka sisters or lily chou-chou.

okay. need to mug from tmr onwards. and to munch on all the welfare packs food. seeyihui leaving for taiwan tmr. man. the house will be so quiet.

and ha yu won best actor. oh man. i tot it was a raymond lam sure win thing.
