woah. this is quite worth watching. haha. do u noe that hkia(including the Tsing Ma bridge and Western Harbour Crossing and the railway system) is built within 7 years? wow. that's damn fast. according to the video it was because of some political problem that they had to build it before 1jul1997 the handover but they couldnt finish by then of course. then the china govt gave them 1 more yr to finish the whole thing. which took 7yrs in total. and because it was so rushed, they couldnt test the systems before opening the airport and things kind of cocked up the first few weeks.

and the building of the airport is already tough. cos the airport's actually built from the sea. they took 2 islands (one of them Chek Lap Kok island) flatten them and reclaimed them to make the airport. (hey. jurong island!!) and then tsing ma bridge was made in quite a crazy way. it's the largest double deck suspension bridge with a railway running through it. u noe they went to make the thick cable at that place and hang up sections of the bridge one by one.




and there was this part that they were saying that the passenger terminal was built in the shape of a bird. hmm. haha. didnt they consider that passengers (especially those who are late for their flight) will have a hard time reaching the last gate? hahahaha. u noe. like if they were shopping in the disney shop for too long. and u noe travellators dont help much actually. and that running in the airport is very malu one. hahahahahahaha. hmm.

now i understand why airport express costs so much. it's kind of worth it actually. and hais. i should have stayed awake to take a look at tsing ma big bridge.

from what i heard from 933, jeff chang's gonna have a concert with the symphony orchestra nxt yr march. and so i was quite interested to see if there are any videos online of jeff chang performing with some orchestra when i found that actually i had once blogged abt this. anw. yesh. yay. voo. exams is ovvveeeeerrrrrrrrrr!! hahahahahaha. okay. actually im supposed to be utterly upset now. since i can somehow predict that my CAP is not gonna be good. and that the ahtiongs and abunenes are all gonna trash me. but hell. it's the holidays yay yay yay!!

was watching the episode of 大學生了沒 on 宅男(otakus) and i realised i really need some life. cos one guy was saying he hadnt went out for one whole semester. which then makes me feel super guilty. i'm like that too right? other than a few movie sessions and er meet up sessions. i have not gone out for a whole semester!! oh shit. my life was jus on equilibrium and integrations and tv. i really really need to go out.

yesterday went down to yueyun's hall and yueting's hse for some end-of-exams gathering. haha. so it turns out to be a mass bake rice eating and tv watching session.

by the time my paper ended it was already 7pm and at the same time felicia has already reached at sheares. it was supposed to be a baked rice making session but turned out to be a yueyun making baked rice while we are chatting session. haha. the baked rice was damn good. must bring some of the skill back and maybe try out someday.

and then we went to yueyun's rm to roll on her bed. which was er extremely not nice. haha. cos we were damn dirty and we went on to roll on her bed. but yueyun was okay with it cos she's already moving out.

then went down to yueting's hse. to watch spop. hahahahaha. i think yueting wanted to watch jj but it turned out to be a tiny karaoke session by yueyun and me. hahahahaha. i guess 972 has taught us well.

and then throughout the night it was channel flipping by felicia and me while the other two were sleeping. haha. and i just realised there's this service on scv where u can order 'on the first beat' and 'fathers and sons' in cantonese. woah. that's quite cool. and we watched all the way to 6am in the morning. from 5am-6am we were watching this everest thing on discovery. woah. that's quite cool. apparently felicia had watched it once and tot it was damn good. and yesh. it's damn good. it shows the cruelty of mountaineering and of course how small we are as compared to nature.

and again we went to dirty yueting's bed cos we slept there till 12pm. hais. okay. i admit we were quite bad to go round sleeping on other's people bed wearing clothes that we wore out. but yay. good start to the holidays. yayyayayayayayayay!!

okay. so i was thinking of wat i should do after the paper of monday. and tada. i've come out with a wonderful list of things i shd do in my 4 wks of freedom:

1. Clean up my room till it looks like an ikea showrm. or even better.

2. Start giving myself some mental preparation for sem2. cos from reliable sources, the ah tiongs spend up to 8mths before coming to the lion city studying and preparing for sem1. but i have already spent my 8mths sleeping/playing/sightseeing/baito-ing/buyingtoto. i have no more 8mths. so maybe i shd so something in the 1 month.

3. Clean up my toilet so that it looks cleaner than the ones in 6 stars hotels.

4. Cut out the BB日记 from the newspaper stack that has been piling up beside my bed.

5. Find a victim who wants to get tuition from me.

6. Camp stuff

7. Continue to bar till i can bar properly.

8. In the meantime, sing song talk cock play mahjong. i miss all the ntu people!!
