looking thru math notes made me realise how little attention i paid to fred during his lectures. i guess for most of the time we were either sleeping or imitating his accent, instead of learning something new.

so today i was reading through differentiation which i all along tot was an exact replica of our A levels math notes till i read them properly. it's more of like A levels math but explain in the most fundamental way ever. the most fundamental way of expressing chain rule, the most fundamental way of expressing limits. and the whole chunk of first order differentiation to find maximas and minimums (with what concavity) which i dun remember listening to during class.

hais. thank goodness MA1505 mid terms is only testing on the first 3 topics. phew. which means end of semester exams is gonna be damn hard. with those l'hospital and taylor(ahhhhh.) stuff.

but the game theory of econs really rawks. monopoly used to my favourite market structure, but game theory makes me like oligopoly even more. go game theory.

first paper on tue. hais. sian. especially when lessons still go on during mid terms. i tot exam week would mean no lesson week. but lessons as usual, exams after school. esp the math paper which is from 830pm-930pm. hahahahaha.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e just ended this wk. hais. which meant one drama down to look forward to every wk. and i must say the jap one is so much better than the taiwan one. though i like everyone who is casted in the taiwan one but the plot is so draggy, it becomes very painful to follow, until in the end i gave up on it from like ep 4 onwards. and maybe becos of ella's exaggerated acting, u dun even feel the chemistry btw her and wu chun. so the jap one, short and sweet, finished in 12ep, and unlike the taiwan one, it does not have a stupid ending. yay. oguri shun and maki.

it's already 12 so it's time for so emo. maybe sth not so emo first. i saw my P5 form teacher jus now. woah. i think of all the teachers in my life, he's the first one to show me wat is it like to be a teacher. i think all those i had from P1-P4 are crap. they cant teach, only noe how to bully children. wtf right? anw, yah. i saw him on the way home. was walking around to get my dinner so i managed to bump into him twice. and he was carrying a baby. omg. i really cant picture as a father. when he was teaching us he was like 1yr since he came out from nie. but i dun think he can remember me already.

anw, nowadays engin is getting a little less xiong. maybe becos this is the wk before recess wk. and i finished my ctw!! yay. and thanks berber and ann for telling me abt the babel tower part. so two down, one last one left. to decide whether to email the dean over at the other side. kinda swayed by yueyun to stay. to join sheares and to switch over to business. econs is a little too academic. i wanna try something more practical.

but econs has moved on to game theory. yay. nash and prisoner dilemma. love this kind of stuff. those how to win games with math theories. if only they have like casino math and management, i'll surely enroll myself in that. suddenly remember this quote i saw in iweekly, "the clever ones will become a dealer, and the rest will go to universities" by this guy talking abt the kids in macau. omg. hahahaha. cos i heard the pay now in casinos over there is damn high. even those from mainland hk are going over.

dun u think it's funny that everyday we look forward to lunch, after lunch we look forward to end of school, every wkday we look forward to friday, and every semester we look forward to holidays. talking abt short term, mid term and long term goals.

anyway, it's still my long awaited holiday, which then we will have mid terms. exams. damn. when im still totally lost in that midst of FCC-BCC, fourier, game theory, rotational momentum and truss structure, we hafta face our first exam. hais.

recently have been watching this japanese drama-juken no kamisama.



it talks abt this primary6 kid who all along did not wan to try for a 名校, so he didnt bother abt his studies at all. and then one day he realise that his friend in tha baseball team stopped going for training in order to study for exams. and then to encourage him to do so too so that they could go to this 名校 tgt which has a strong emphasis on baseball.



so after some trouble, he and his father managed to get this tutor, nicknamed the god of exams' to tutor him.












and he has this classmate who is quite cham. his parents like own a hospital and so demand a lot from their 2 sons. there was this test he got 98 and got scolded by his mum for not getting full marks. cos not getting full marks will defeat all the purpose. hahahaha. damn crazy

the deadline for the eg1413 critique is jus 3 days away and i still haven written down a single word for it. there's not a single motivation to that piece of work other than that the deadline is really coming too near. argh. jus when i tot GP would be the end to the years of torture by the english language, english homework really haunts me.

had the very first quiz of our year, a statics one, which is like newton mechanics to the extreme. the paper's 1hr with 2 questions, which was seemingly easy but strangely difficult to solve. and now i start seeing building structures i used to ignore totally. like the celling for the yew tee food court and also for the yew tee train station both use simple truss structures.

3 impt things to do. my test, my critique and my pleading letter. one down two to go. after handing in the critique on wed, im gonna start drafting the letter to the dean on the other side to let me in to their sch. and of course, caas intern registering is gonna start soon.

omg. i really tot i was the only one and that this occured to me cos my mum bought me coloured number charts when i was young. and after learning that chart i cant forget the colour for my life.

if u are one of those whom i asked whether u can too see colours in numbers, congratulate me, i finally know why. hahahahaha. i think i blogged abt this some time ago before, that to me numbers have a colour.

0=white
1=black
2=yellow
3=blue
4=red
5=green
6=orange
7=dark green
8=purple
9=orange brown

so this is how i memorised the dates for history. like maybe 1965 to me was a murky colour and so it was the year spore gained independence and we were still undeveloped. hahahahaha. omg. i really tot it's becos the number chart i had when i was young made too much an impact on me or something like that.

same for letters lah. but not all have. and some have very strong colours. like maybe FeCl, F is green, e is blue and C is yellow and l is black.

same goes for days of a week and months. each have a special colour and feeling one.

hahahahaha. according to wiki, it's supposed to be generic, but my sis say she can see letters in colours but not in numbers.

and so everytime i need to memorise something very hard like facts lah, i jus memorise it in a pattern/image kind.

have u ever thought how aeroplane turn? as in u noe they cant jus shift themselves to oneside (and if they do, they need to exert the force somewhere.). anyway,planes turn by tilting themselves a little (most of the time 2odegrees cos more than that the passengers will feel uncomfortable), so that there will be two component of forces, one to lift the plane and the other to provide centripetal force so that it will travel in the arc of a circle to turn lah. cool eh.

it has already past 12 so it's now officially monday. and i sort of heck already. cannot finish then dun care lah.

oh yah.on the 7points for thomas ong. hahahaha. actually i've been wanting to blog about this for quite long but very lazy. one day, out of a surprise, i got a call from mediacorp asking if i wanna participate in their voting for star awards. u noe they always say star awards 50% by calling and the 50% by viewer polls. it was the viewer poll part. and of course i said yes lah.

the last breakthrough turn out to be unexpectedly nice(even when nick cheung has an extremely gay name 王甫芬). but it's really an enjoyable drama, away from the typical hongkong family or police genre.

and they got together an interesting bunch of actors for the drama. nick cheung who didnt act in tvb for so long, lian kai from taiwan, raymond lam, leila tong and bosco the 3 newbies. sonjia kwok, gigi leung and a bunch of favourite ka-la-feis of all time. a very weird bunch of people.
