been very lazy to blog abt this coming show cos it really feels like yet another big production. like 创世纪 which i watched till i fell asleep. er. so the drive of life is 2007's 台庆剧 (like 2006's db and 2003's triumph and 2000's threshold of era) and heng heng, this yr is tvb's 40th anniversary and the 10th yr hongkong went back to china, they try to make something big lah. so, they came out with the drive of life. yawn.

lunching with some strange people.

finally. finally after 5 consecutive days of hell (hell becos i hate waking up early. anytime before 12pm to wake up is hell), im back to heaven!! wahhhahaha. woke up only at 3pm. and yay. im full of energy to talk abt our last day in hk, the beautiful expensive city.


finally. our day to shop. but by then we were so tired we woke up at 9am that day(normally we wake up at 7am), first off, dim sum at the famous resturant at yau ma tei mrt there. didnt take photo though. hais. the people there couldnt understand anything other than canto so we sort of use our hands and feets to get wat we wanna say across. i could understand wat they say but whenever i wanna say sth i could only go 'ahhh. ahh....'

and yesh. the man there is michael miu. he's one of the ahpeis who i think is good lookin. and 看在他的分上, i bought a shirt for my dad there. hahahaha.

so the whole morning we were in the mongkok area. ladies street, fa yuen street, yau ma tei. should have taken more photos there. hais. im regretting.

we shopped till like 4plus before getting back to tsim sha tsui becos we had to catch our plane back already.

and tada. end of our 6days5nights adventure. it's far too short lah. we went around taipei only. wat abt danshui, yangmingshan and jiufen??!! hk is even worse. we explored half of hk island, a tiny part of lantau island and an even smaller part in kowloon. hais. again again!! we must go again!!

it was the starting of summer when we went so the temperature was fluatuating around 23degrees. but becos the place wasnt humid, the air was super cooling. and esp hongkong, everytime we go up the mountains, it gets super cold, like victoria peak and lantau island.

and that's barker road and admiralty in hongkong. hahaha. cos on the 4th day we were so tired that we started talking rubbish. it was btw me and yueting.

is there any university course in the world where u can study about casino games, gambling and the theory behind them? like game theory, gambler's fallacy these kind of stuff.

then it will be truly amazing. i wan to get enrolled in that.

im back. finally. after 4 days of non stop work. hais hais hais. u noe everyday when i work i'll tell myself 'this is to punish u for playing non-stop for 2mths when ur frens are working..' and keep repeating this in my head to move myself on.

tmr's yet another interview with ida people. this time for this govt agency. hais. i wanna work in caas. i shd have jus applied and not care abt the distinction in gp criteria. why reject me for not being gd in gp?

and i've finally settled myself down and not to be guilty for not applying to aerospace ntu. it's over lah. other than not having aerospace engin, everything else in nus seems to be perfect though.

went to the newstand at the mrt station to see of they have any new issue of tvb weekly. the newest one now is issue 511 with liza wang on the cover. urgh. i wan issue 514(with my abalone 4 siblings on the cover), and that's 3 wks more. and when i went hk it was already issue 515. missed by one issue.

and for these 4days becos my new workplace, i got to take more of the NEL and realised that NEL is not that bad actually. just that.. er.. let me present my thoughts with a familiar song:

hongkong taiwan doughnuts. all our favourites.

really watch this mv if u have been to both hk and taiwan. hahaha. brings back a lot of memories. like the ximen station and tsim sha tsui station. woo.

a book which i picked up in taiwan. while looking for yueting's comic we went to this huge books store which had 10% discount for all books so i tot i should jus get something from the store too. i actually wanted to buy the 华丽一族 which is a story on this huge family/bunch of people who does business and talks mainly abt how to invest, how to make money. this bk was recently made into a drama starring takuyakimura.

it was when i saw this bk. they have 3 parts in total and 2 parts were on the top20 chart. and it's really a damn good book. a my kind of book lah. it has many short stories which are all incidents that happen when the author was made to live with his grandma. the format is a little similar to 蔡康永's 那些男孩教我的事 which is like also one of my favourite books.

佐贺的超级阿嬷 was made into a movie. lazy to read then watch it on crunchyroll.

我真的差点挂了。so freaking tired. update for last day in hongkong would most probably be up on monday. in the meantime i must get all my time to rest.

day5. and we are travelling to hongkong island!! yesterday we were mostly on lantau island and kowloon pennisula.

bought a drink from seveneleven. O蜜 is honey lemon. HK$5.50 but it's really big. not like our tiny 60cents drink.





taking a bus to hongkong island to eat. eating and transaportation costs a hell lot in hongkong. like a typical meal will cost u HK$20 for a cheap meal and HK$30 for a normal one. taking mtr is worse than our mrt. if u cross the sea it will cost like HK$15 for a trip. and buses, unlike spore one, doesnt not matter where u get down. u get up u pay an amt, no matter u get down 10stops later or 1 stop later it costs the same. and normally it costs like HK$10. hais.
